Cookie Policy

Last updated: 27 April 2026

BACKGROUND:

This website research.pscpipeline.co.uk ("Our Site"), operated by PSC Pipeline Limited ("We", "Us", "Our"), uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are essential to operate the PSC Research Tool. Others are optional and require your consent before they are set. This Cookie Policy explains what cookies We use, what they do, and how you can control them.

Your acceptance of optional cookies is recorded when you select your preferences in Our cookie consent banner and click "Accept All" or save your selection. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of Our Site. Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent and will be set regardless. If you do not consent to optional cookies, certain features may not work as expected, but the core PSC Research Tool will continue to function.

3. How Does Our Site Use Cookies?

3.1 Our Site uses both first-party Cookies (set directly by Us) and third-party Cookies (set by service providers We rely on, such as Stripe and Supabase).

3.2 All Cookies used by and on Our Site are used in accordance with current Cookie Law. Strictly necessary Cookies are set without consent because the Service cannot function without them. All other Cookies are set only after you have given consent through Our cookie consent banner.

3.3 We use the following categories of Cookie. The categories below match the categories shown in Our cookie consent banner so that you can see exactly what each consent toggle controls.

Strictly Necessary Cookies

These Cookies are essential to the operation of the PSC Research Tool. They support functions such as logging in to your Account, keeping you signed in across pages, processing payments, and remembering your cookie preferences. The Service cannot function without these Cookies. They are set without consent, in accordance with Cookie Law.

Functional Cookies

These Cookies enable additional functionality, such as remembering preferences you have set in the application. They are set only with your consent.

Analytics Cookies

These Cookies help Us understand how visitors use Our Site — which pages are visited, how the application performs, where users encounter problems. We use this information to improve the Service. Analytics Cookies are set only with your consent.

Performance Cookies

These Cookies measure how the application is performing — page load times, error rates, and similar technical indicators. They help Us identify and fix issues. Performance Cookies are set only with your consent.

Advertising Cookies

We do not currently use advertising Cookies on Our Site. The PSC Research Tool does not display advertisements and We do not run remarketing campaigns. This category is included for completeness and in case We introduce such Cookies in the future, in which case We will update this Cookie Policy and seek your consent before setting any such Cookies.

3.4 Cookies on Our Site may be either session Cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent Cookies (remain on your device until they expire or you delete them). The exact duration of each Cookie is shown in the tables in Clause 4.

3.5 For more details about the personal data We collect and use, the measures We have in place to protect personal data, your legal rights, and Our legal obligations, please refer to Our Privacy Policy at https://research.pscpipeline.co.uk/privacy

If We introduce functional Cookies in future (for example, to remember your dashboard layout preferences), We will update this Cookie Policy and seek your consent before setting them.

4.4 Advertising Cookies

We do not currently use advertising Cookies on Our Site.

4.5 A note on Anthropic and AI Processing

The PSC Research Tool uses Anthropic's API to generate Reports. Anthropic's API is called server-side from Our infrastructure and does not set any cookies on your device. Information about how your inputs are processed by Anthropic is set out in Our Privacy Policy, Part 8.

5. Consent and Control

5.1 When you first visit Our Site, you will be shown a cookie consent banner. The banner allows you to:

  • Accept all Cookies.
  • Reject all optional Cookies (strictly necessary Cookies will still be set).
  • Customise your preferences by category (Functional, Analytics, Performance, Advertising).

5.2 Your preferences are saved and applied on subsequent visits. You can return to your preferences and change them at any time by clicking the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of Our Site.

5.3 In addition to the controls We provide, you can enable, disable or delete Cookies in your browser. Most browsers accept Cookies by default but allow you to change this. Disabling strictly necessary Cookies will prevent you from logging in to the PSC Research Tool.

5.4 Browser-specific instructions for managing Cookies:

6. Changes to this Cookie Policy

6.1 We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if We add or remove Cookies, change service providers, or to reflect changes in the law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this Policy will indicate when it was last revised.

6.2 Where the changes are material, We will notify Account holders by email and seek fresh consent through the cookie banner where required by law. Your continued use of Our Site after changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

6.3 In the event of any conflict between the current version of this Cookie Policy and any previous version, the current version shall prevail unless expressly stated otherwise.
